Piers Morgan has hit out at KIM kadarshian and model Emily Rata after they released their topless selfie, saying feminism is dead. An unimpressed Morgan began by reposting the pair's half-naked picture alongside: “Classy ladies. Real classy.”
He continued: “Just a thought @Kimkardashian @emrata - but you could always try wearing a little dignity?"
The TV host then proceeded to say feminism was dead next to a picture of suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst and the image of the reality star and model.
“I profoundly disagree, I wouldn’t do it but feminism is the right to do it,” someone soon replied.
I don’t dispute their right to get their kit off & flick the bird to millions of strangers. It’s just tacky," he fired back.
“Do you actually know what feminism is? It looks like you don’t,” one person asked to which he replied: “It’s supposed to be the advocacy of women’s rights & equality with men. Not, I dare suggest, topless selfies.
“If women genuinely think this photo advocates women’s rights & equality, then feminism as it was intended is dead."
